FREE pHOS 24

Why did we name this product FREE pHOS 24? Soil applied phosphate is terribly inefficient. Only about 5% to 10% of what is applied to the soil is available for use by the plant. That is because in soils with a pH that is acidic (below 7), some cations such as aluminum and iron are more available and tie up the phosphate and in soils with a higher pH (above 7), calcium ties up the phosphate. What we have done with FREE pHOS 24 is added unique chemistries that will keep some of this from happening. FREE pHOS 24 is 100% ortho phosphate, which is the form that the plant uses so it is immediately available to the plant when it is applied. That is why we can apply such a small amount and get excellent results.
