CultivAce brand FREE pHOS 24 is a proprietary formulation of a liquid fertilizer 8-24-0-0.25 Zinc. The phosphate in this product is derived from 100% ortho phosphate, so it is immediately available for plant uptake.
FREE pHOS 24 can be applied to the plant foliage as well as an in-furrow pop up fertilizer. This is because only 100% ortho phosphates can be foliar applied and as an in-furrow due to its low salt index. The pH of FREE pHOS 24 is in the range of 6.3, which makes it ideal for application to plant foliage.
FREE pHOS 24 also contains zinc. Zinc helps with early seedling germination and rooting.
In our field and greenhouse trials, FREE pHOS 24 was found to be when applied as a starter pop up fertilizer on both corn and wheat. This means that the grower can plant more acres between fill ups during busy planting seasons. One gallon of FREE pHOS 24 outperformed 10 gallons of 10-34-0 when applied as an in-furrow pop up fertilizer when placed directly on corn seed.
By using FREE pHOS 24, we are getting most of our applied phosphate to the plant instead of having most of your phosphate, which is at best 5% to 10% available, tied up on a clay colloid. This colloid, with its attached phosphate, is prone to leaving your field through erosion, whether by wind or and intervention in our farming practices.
FREE pHOS 24 may sound like magic, but it is based on good sound science backed up by over 45 years of experience in the fluid fertilizer business.
FREE pHOS 24 also contains zinc. Zinc helps with early seedling
